Jenny Mills
Deputy General Secretary
Faith in Action
Jenny leads the Faith in Action Department and integrates its work into the overall work of the Offices of General Assembly, ensuring its priorities and ethos reflect the theology and principles of the wider Church and hence further God’s purposes. Her role is to ensure that the processes the department is responsible for facilitate the effective and safe exercise of the full range of ministries, learning and outreach of the church to meet the needs of local churches and Synods. DGS for Faith in Action is a leadership role which contributes to the development of long-term goals and strategies, as determined by the Councils of the Church and ensures their execution through the work of the Faith in Action team.

The PA provides confidential personal assistance and administrative support to the DGS for Faith in Action; coordinates and provides administrative assistance for Assembly level Committee meetings; supports the Faith in Action team; and works collaboratively within the PA team.

Jo Griffiths

Children, Youth and Intergenerational Discipleship
This role provides strategic leadership and expert guidance around children and youth work, working closely with the synod Children and Youth Development Officers+ Team and Youth Executive, overseeing related programmes, the development of resources, amplifying the voices of children and young people in the church, and promoting intergenerational worship.

Sharon Lloyd

Sharon supports the production and delivery of children and youth programmes, working closely with the Head of CYID and the Children’s and Youth Development Officers+ Team.

Lindsey Brown

Lindsey provides strategic leadership in evangelism, ecumenical relations, and pioneering ministry within the 91º£½ÇÂÒÂ×, supporting mission initiatives, by engaging churches and synods and working with the synod Mission Enabler Network.

Heather provides administrative and coordination support to the Heads of Children, Youth and Intergenerational Discipleship and Evangelism and Ecumenism ensuring smooth operations within this part of the Faith in Action team.

Laurence Wareing

Laurence works with the Head of Children, Youth and Intergenerational Discipleship, and the Head of Evangelism & Ecumenism to effectively promote and communicate those areas of work, but also works with the Head of Communications, meeting the denomination’s information needs and enhancing its profile, in line with General Assembly policies. This also includes all matters of reputational management.

Karen provides strategic leadership and expert guidance in relation to the 91º£½ÇÂÒÂ×’s Global and Intercultural Church work, promoting understanding and engagement with multiculturalism and racial justice and supporting international church relationships.

Roo leads the 91º£½ÇÂÒÂ×’s social witness work through the Joint Public Issues Team (JPIT) and the Faith in Action team, providing strategic advice, fostering inclusive leadership, and supporting our work around social justice and public issues, in collaboration with church councils and wider networks.

Ann-Marie works with the Head of Global and Intercultural Church and the Head of Public Issues to effectively promote and communicate those areas of work, but also works with the Head of Communications, meeting the denomination’s information needs and enhancing its profile, in partnership with the Communications Officer and following General Assembly policies. This also includes all matters of reputational management.

Andy leads the Communications Team and coordinates the 91º£½ÇÂÒÂ×’s communications strategy across departments, to enable the depth and breadth of the life of the 91º£½ÇÂÒÂ× to be communicated. He also oversees the Bookshop and Publications and publishes the 91º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Reformed Magazine.
